A Blouse Is Not Always What It Seems

I have to start off with how so many fashionistas can take a simple style and recreate it as a new and entrancing look. I Found this particular style very interesting even though it is labeled as a blouse I saw it as something a bit different to me it wasn't just a shirt. So instead of me wearing it as labeled with its amazing detail as a trench coat like style I wear it just as such. I wore it with a simple black tank top and faux leather leggings and the perfect pumps and this outfit was on point just added some accessories and the look was complete. I got this Blouse from one of my number one favorite stores you guessed it Forever21.

I will admit I was a little worried to buy this piece cause it was labeled as a blouse and knowing that I am on the busty and curvy side buttoning it up would not be an option. So what did I do I just got it and wore is like a trench coat /cover and it became a big hit I was getting asked left and right where I got it. So just know even though it may be labeled as one thing does not mean you cant wear it as another. So like I always say DON'T KNOCK IT ROCK IT! and wear it with style.

The Kat.....Von D Is Out Of The Bag!

When it comes to makeup theirs always a must for us makeup fanatics I have two, lashes and lipstick and I have such a new love for the matte lipsticks from Kat Von D. Not only does it go on smooth but the colors are amazing and the feel of it is just perfect a big time must have for any lipstick collection. The lipstick doesn't dry out and feels like velvet on your lips and a huge plus is the long lasting finish which is perfect for us Dolls on the go. The lipstick color that first got me hooked was one of the famous collection colors called Coven which is a really beautiful lavender that is like no other.

Not only does this lipstick look amazing but the smell of it is so nice with her now signature lipstick sent of creme brulee which is very refreshing for any lipstick lover. Side note when buying lipstick make sure it has a sweet or kind of mint smell if not then don't even think about buy it. I know that some liquid matte lipsticks cant help it but if the smell is to strong you better put it down and walk away,but Kat Von D's collection is just amazing and well worth the buy a definite must have. Fashionable Fitness!

Who said you can't look good while working out from the shoes on your feet to the cute tanks and lets not forget the new styles of leggings and believe me there are many. I have recently purchased an amazing pair of active leggings from you guessed it Forever21 they are so amazing and they are styled with a hint of sexy which is never a bad thing. I will admit I was a little scarred of the mesh on the sides but once I slipped these babies on I felt amazing not just sexy but ready to work it and work out.

The mesh compliments the legs perfectly and still very soft and comfortable and does not feel scratchy at all which I know that some people think when they hear mesh, but its just amazing against my skin. Also a big plus about these leggings they are not just for working out in my opinion they can also be for going out just add a cute top some sassy heels and you are ready for a sexy yet comfortable night out. So I leave you with this just cause the clothes are meant for one thing does not mean you can't wear it how you want to like I always say DON'T KNOCK IT ROCK IT and wear it with style.

On Wednesday We Wear White...Collars That Is

This style has been around for years and continues to be the top most common yet unique fashion forward style that has come across us and its not just for Halloween. When people see this style         of course the first thing that comes to mind is the one and only Wednesday Addams but little do they know that this simple yet eye popping style has become so much more then that. I personally love this style and have always loved it so when I saw this dress I just had to have it.

This Collared Lace Shift Dress is from Forever21 and I gotta say they have this on point I am so obsessed with this. From the comfortable collar to the beautiful lace this dress can be for night and day and I can't say enough about it and again when getting dresses like this a lot of people are a little taken away. There scared of the collar being to tight for there liking and that's understandable but this is not to tight and the collar it's self is so soft definitely worth the buy. You can pare this off with some sexy heels or even sensible wing tips as for accessories you don't really need them this dress is one all on its own. If you wanna add a little flare with a simple statement necklace go for it but be careful you don't wanna over do it. So like I always say DON'T KNOCK IT ROCK IT! and wear it with style.

EMBROIDERY IS THE GAME, ELEGANCE IS THE NAME!

I have always loved embroidery but its always hard to find in ways meaning styles that you feel comfortable wearing it in. Well I found this wonderful top that I absolutely love and very much obsess over and I must say put together very elegantly. Not only does it look beautiful but you feel beautiful I bought this baby from Forever 21 and for something that looks so expensive I saved a lot of money on it. Who said you have to be rich to buy such beautiful clothing I don't know about you but I love to save money when I can and this is very much worth it. I love it and have worn it out already getting many complements while pairing it up with some black leggings and some great heels.

I'm giving this piece of art five stars and more its not only comfortable but it can be for day or night wear. Also the collar is not to tight which is great so you don't feel like your being choked by your own garment. Not gunna lie I really love it cause it kinda reminds me of not just elegance but also a bit of a Kat Von D vibe which is amazing of course cause her fashion is just out of this world. Y.R.U. BALLET BAE

I first have to say how genius the design of this shoe is, mixing a girls dream into being a ballet dancer in a fashion forward way. These shoes are so wonderfully beautiful I love the platform along with a sassy lace up ribbon these shoes take girly to a new level. I was so lucky enough to get these shoes in the color black but they come in many colors such as pink, purple, and white. I'm a huge Y.R.U. fan and just always so in love with there shoes and these babies take the cake I feel like a ballet boss in these babies.

I have always wanted these shoes for I don't know how long and now I am happy to say I now own these amazing boots. They are so versatile you can wear them with any pant,legging or even skirt these are really rockin. They are a 6inch heel with a 3inch platform and are very comfortable the thick heel gives great balance to strut your stuff.

Faux Fur I Fake My Own

It's attack of the Fashion Forward Furs now a days everyone is all for fake furs some real fur still lingers in the fashion world but everyone has there own taste of opinion. I wont lie I don't mind real furs just as long as there from a vintage clothing store cause that coat has been dead for decades. I however do own way more Faux pieces then I do real and to me it makes no difference I don't care if its not real as long as it looks good while I wear it. I Love the fur fashion I myself just got two amazing pieces from one of my favorite stores you guessed it Forever21. I think practically half my wardrobe is from them but most are from the online exclusives which are my favorite. So let me share with you the amazing piece I have come upon from one of the most well known stores in the woman fashion vocabulary.

                           

I don't understand why there were so many picky reviews these jackets are amazing and so comfortable and soft and did I mention amazing. They make me feel like a total rock star and I cant wait to wear them out there very versatile you can wear them up or down just add a good pair of heels and your on your way. So let me just say sometimes reviews aren't always that great until you actually try it yourself and be the judge but I give these jackets FIVE STARS for bein rockin.         I have taken my platform love and obsession to new heights the Jenny shoe from Ego and Greed are with out a doubt one of the best platform shoes I have ever owned. Not only do they look amazing they feel great the material is soft and comfortable and walking in them is a breeze, but i will say make sure you wear these babies in a designated heel area cause platforms are always tricky like that. So when you wear these powerful platforms be sure to be on flat ground or on the arm of a strong man so you don't wipe out on the floor. I have seen nothing but good reviews about these shoes and had to have them and let me just say those reviews were so rite and I'm in love these babies are worth it i give them five stares.

These beauties are 10 inch heels with a 6 inch platform and the best thing is that they look tall but the feel of them when you walk feels like a regular platform wedge, which is the bet feeling with a shoe that is crafted liked this. So if your obsessed with platforms or have a Napoleon complex like me then they are a total must have and you will not regret having such an awesome pair of powerful platforms. WHAT UP MY KNITTAS

 So I've seen that knit wear has become such an impact and I must say I love it, the creations that have been made with knit wear have come to so many possibilities from lose knit sweaters to shirts and even dresses. I myself own a couple knit wear and they are so comfortable as well as not to heavy of a type of material you can wear them at anytime of the year since they come in so many forms there are even knit wear pants and I must say this impact of fashion is mind blowing. Who new knitting wasn't just a senior pass time an I will admit I do dabble in a bit of knitting and crocheting and I gotta say its so relaxing and I do recommend taking it up. I will say my favorite piece of knit wear and was my first has to be the best birthday present I got from my boyfriend which is the

A Platform History

Have you ever wondered how the platform shoe came to be in the history of fashion, well let me tell you it wasn't the spice girls that spiced up the platform world. In 1940 the platform shoe came to america on a glamorous entertainers feet named Carmen Miranda. She opened the world to many different styles of the platform shoe from glitzy gold to snake skin the sky's the limit. Carmen Miranda was a five foot one fashion icon with a dream to entertain, and she came rite off the boat with a big smile high hopes and even higher shoes. The artist behind her famous platforms is the one and only Ferragamo he not only designed them but he also patent the platform shoe.

Not only did she dance in them they were one of her signature style statements that blew up in the fashion world even Ms. Monroe had to have a few pairs herself. So today the platform takes to great heights and many different styles and colors and woman all over still rock them. So weather it be a chunky heel a wedge or even a spike heel platforms can make anyone woman feel sexy and confident, and like  always say don't knock it rock it and wear it with style.

A Beautiful Brain

          So I hear that just cause a woman loves fashion and makeup she must only be smart in those departments rite? WRONG! just cause we love the beautiful things docent mean we don't use our brains. I am one example of this I love to read and I don't mean romance novels I mean I read horror, thriller, mysteries and I love reading biographies as well as watching them. I have also seen woman in very important fields of work dress to impress and you can tell even though they stay on top of there style there mind is professional. So when I see people look at us fashionistas that style is all we know it makes me think has the whole world got a cover on it since clearly nobody is readying the book called we are who we are. All I gotta say is that yes us fashion forward woman do have brains and we are not afraid to use them. I will say this though without the minds of strong brilliant woman we wouldn't even have the fashion we have today with such style and physique. With such minds as Coco Channel to the out of the box Betsy Johnson who have opened many doors to the world of fashion. They have worked hard and now there names are on lips of every fashioista in the world and without that hard work of brilliance we would not have those doors at all.

So to all you fashion lovers either man or woman show the world what you have weather it be in wingtips or pumps don't allow yourself to be walked on. So remember all my fashionistas hold your head up high and don't be afraid to show off that beautiful brain, and don't forget rock it don't knock it and wear it with style.

That 70's Fashion

      So I have come to see that the 70's are back and a bit better then ever not saying I would know I wasn't alive in that decade, but from what I've seen from old movies and the inspiration of new fashion styles and icons its made a huge impacted. From bell bottoms to flared colors even the famous skate skirts and hot pants are back, and lets not forget the oh so amazing accessories such as the oversize sunglasses to the fur color coats as well as flower head pieces. When first hearing anyone think of the 70's in our generation we first think of the kick ass That 70's Show and from what I remember they had some pretty psychedelic wardrobes. Rite now when I think of how the style of the 70's has made its comeback I'm directed to the beautiful model Natasha Lillipore.

FLASH BACK!

     So I have noticed something that has been trending more then usual this year and it has been styles that are having a huge comeback with modern fashions. I have noticed the fringe kimono as well as the old school oversize round glasses, and even tops styled from the medieval era as well as the nineteen twenties. I must say I love them all who knew how good we could style up from the past, I love all these new creations and this fashion era has done nothing but empress me more and more. You will notice that even in accessories we have taken advantage from past statement styles such as, the chain and jewel headpiece   to the wide brim fedoras and even huge statement necklaces that remind me of Egyptian queens.

                      I have the headpiece from forever 21 and let me tell you I love it so much it goes with any boho, mystical, or even an elegant style. Wear it Well

          As we look back on old pictures of ourselves and always say, "what the hell am I wearing" along with, "what was I thinking" we just think well I'm glad I grew some seance. However growing up with such strange taste is how we know what to wear now, it opens our minds now to how fashion is and what looks good and what can look good. Not all of us dress the same some dress dark and others dress bright and sometimes we dress both, as long as it looks good it is good. But there are some things people should just not wear hate to brake it but not all styles look good on all people. When we were kids we all had many things open to our eyes, from shirts with favorite TV show characters or just cause it looks cool or pretty to us. But these days when your in or entering your twenties you must see that your choice of style should change as well. You can keep wearing band shirts knowing your taste of music has changed, and also our style of choice. Weather its pinup or rocker even just punk or goth even the prep look can grow or what I call geek sheek as long as its a do not a don't. Some of us out there still wear things like hello kitty or even anything Kawaii meaning cute but iv seen woman in there twenties wear it well. So I guess the main point of today is, wear it well and make sure your over the top meter doesn't go off, so be a do and don't forget DON'T KNOCK IT ROCK IT!

           Everyday there is a new trend that starts, you never know what it'll be weather its food, places or in fashion such as clothing shoes or even makeup. Trends tend to fade or arise and new ones created every moment thanks to such things we have amazing fashion wonderful food and drinks and lets not forget music. So wear your brights and shades with pride just make sure your a do and not a don't even when your a trend you still can make it on the don't list so remember to rock it don't knock it and style is key. I have noticed that a huuuge trend has almost covered the US and that is fitness it has come to the top once again and everyone well I should say most have jumped on this trend and have been doing great. In my book beauty can come in all shapes and sizes its all how you carry yourself but health is a smart way to be no matter what direction you want to go.
